1St Step is an individualised treatment plan. The plan addresses your specific needs and is prepared by the Implantologist.
At this stage, number, site, size and implant-type best suited for you are planned.
Next, a small post made of titanium is placed into the bone/socket of the missing tooth. The jawbone heals and grows around the implant anchoring it securely in the jaw.
Stage II: Restoration and Fabrication of Cap/Tooth:
When the implant bonds with the jawbone, it is ready to receive a small connector post—an abutment—which is attached to the implant to securely hold the new tooth.
Fabrication of the Cap/Tooth
Impressions/scans are made to create a model of the bite (registering all teeth, their type, and arrangement). New tooth/teeth are based on this model. A replacement tooth, called a crown, is then attached to the abutment.
The dentist matches the colour of the new teeth exactly to that of the natural teeth. Since the implant is secured within the jawbone, the replaced teeth look, feel, and function just like your own natural teeth.
