Scaling & Polishing & Teeth Whitening Treatment Procedure

The dentist examines the extent of the damage to the tooth by taking an X-Ray. He then removes the pulp by drilling and entering the root of the tooth.

The root canal is cleaned with specialised instruments. If required local anesthesia is administered before starting the treatment.

It is then disinfected and filled with biocompatible material called Gutta-percha and then sealed.
The last step in the procedure is the restoration of a crown.

Placing of the crown is necessary as the tooth tends to become brittle after the Root Canal Treatment. The crown prevents further damage to the tooth and the chances of a fracture.
